Man! What a long six days it has been! Despite it being long, jam-packed, HOT and [unfortunately] expensive, it was an alright weekend. I didn't get to play games and play on my computer as much as I wanted, but some friends were getting married, so I gave up my free-time for them. [You should feel LOVED! lol!]

This time away from my computer has been good because I have all new inspiration for my PSP wallpapers. For a bit there I was having a minor creative block. Sitting down at my computer last night and finding some new pictures for inspiration was just what I needed! *YAY!* Here are my newest PSP Wallpapers (which I am so-very-very happy with!


(This one turned the best I think. It's one of my favorite wallpapers so far! It felt like this one knew how it wanted to look from the beginning so making flowed very naturally. That may sound silly- lol.)


(I know this is an old picture, but the base picture just screamed "Make a wallpaper out of me!!" so I had to comply. xD)


(This one turned out NOTHING like I imagined. The colors on it are just beautiful though. The feathers were a fluke. I was just messing around with different brushes and the feathers just seemed to flow out of the background. *Perfect!*)

This may not interest many people out there, but The Who played at E3 this weekend. I am so sad () I was not there. *sniffles* This was The Who's second performance in the USA in quite a while! How cool is that?! I want to go see The Who!!! Those lucky bastards who got to go.... *shakes fists*

Almost time to go home! We're having hamburgers and hot dogs at the In-law's tonight. I'm thinking about stopping by the store on the way over there to pick up an avocado and some guacamole mix to top my hot dog with. It's sounds weird, but guacamole on grilled hot dogs is the best! Especially if you mix tomatos in it!!! *YUMMMY!*

BLARG!! I know better than to pig out on Casa Chapala Express. *sobs* I don't feel well now. There's a kinda-rehersal dinner tonight that I have to go and I'm not excited now. Blahhh!! At least food was yummy ^_^b lol!

The more I look at the picture of me in the last entry, the more I don't like it. I blame the humidity of Seattle for not keeping my hair full and curly- lol! Oh well. It's not a big deal. The cat ears are still super cute.

After work tonight, my Hubby and I are heading to his parent's house for family dinner night and playing Final Fantasy XI until (hopefully) some ungawdly hour. I have reached a point in the game where I feel am progressing a lot and have a lot to look forward to! *YAY!* All I feel like doing is playing the game. (It's been that way for ab out a week or so!)

This is Aphmau, she's a Puppetmaster (although, her puppet isn't in the picture). She's a very mysterious character- we're in the process of learning more about it. Isn't she pretty?

They are from the manga Shinshi Doumei Cross (or in English: The Gentleman's Alliance Cross). *so veryveryvery good* There are six volumes out in America right now, and the final tenth volume was released recently in Japan. Aaron has already pre-orded me the next couple volumes. howsweet!

Hey everyone! This picture was taken at SakuraCon in April. Like the kitty ears? I thought they were super cute!

Even though I said I hate doing it, I started crocheting again... This is what I've made:


Aren't they neat? The patterns are from a Japanese knitting/crochet book that I have. I think I've posted about it before. What do you think of the colors? Aren't they bright and fun?! It's crappy Wal-Mart yarn, but that stuff is great for making scrubbies because of the acrylic in it. I've actually made a lot more of them, but these were the only ones I took pics of.

Not much else going on at the moment. It is 1:51am... I am just now starting to get tired... not good. I think I'm going to go wash up, put pamaja's on, hop in bed, and play Jeanne D'Arc for a grand total of three minutes and then fall asleep. Man, tomorrow is going to be a long day. Ok, yeah, time for bed! Lol!

Mood: GREAT!! (*cough*totally up but really really ready for bed... you know how that is*)
Watching: Deadliest Catch reruns (can't get enough of the show)

Happy Monday everyone! So much news today! Ai over at Deadly Nightshade has started voting on the layout contest that I joined. Go check out the entries (there are a lot of good ones) and vote for my layout if you like it!

Also! I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life yesterday. The hubby and I went to the beach and while we were there we saw a seal!! That's not the amazing part though because the seal was beached. It looked like it was dead. We were there early in the morning so the beach wasn't crowded, but the few people who were there just ignored it. (*can you believe that!?!* ) So we went to the closest hotel and asked if there was someone we should call to take care of it. Long story short, no one was able to help out, so that lady at the hotel gave us a towel and asked us if we could try and get him back into the water. So as the waves came in, we rolled him over and tried pushing him towards the ocean with the towel. He turned around and looked at us, and then let us help him get back to the ocean. After a couple good pushes with the towel, Aaron dropped the towel and started pushing the seal's back with his hands! After a couple more good pushes, the seal was in deep enough water where he could swim on his own. We watched him as we swam past the incoming waves and out into the ocean. I cried. <- like that. We told my family but I'm not sure they believed us. It is such an extraordinary story (and seals can be very dangerous), and things like that don't happen often, but that is why it's just so cool.

The weather sure is heating up! It was over 100* yesterday. I am sure it will be the same today. Hot hot hot! That's what I get for living in a desert though. Hooray for air conditioning!

Mood: Cold, but happy (A.C. is amazing)
Watching: Nothing atm, I think I'll go put Harry Potter on in a few mins. Either that or Advent Children...
Listening: Fleet Foxes OMG check them out! Best new band I've heard in a couple years.
Reading: my new Bento book I picked up at Uwajimaya along with my THREE new Japanese fashion magazines.

Last night I had a dream where I could pirouette like a ballet dancer. I felt so bad ass, like I was the coolest gal in the world. Then I woke up- lol! If there ballet classes for adults I would SO take them!!!

OMG! I just finished a really really good manga! It's called It's Not Like That, Darling and you must read it!! It's only four books long and it's so good. At first, I wasn't sure how this was going to work it's self out, but omg! I believe in this sort of thing. *swoon* *swoon*

GUESS WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY?!



Aaron bought me a new computer- isn't it beautiful?! We're going to spend the night playing Sins of a Solar Empire with our friend Adam. *so excited!!*

I am going to spend a bunch of my day tomorrow moving my stuff from my old computer. I don't have much, it's mostly all my resources for making my PSP wallpapers and icons. *so very excited!!!*

Watching: We watched all six episodes of Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket last night. It was good. Tragic, but good. Worth watching if you like Gundam and have two hours to spare.
Listening: Tamaki Nami (love her music but I just can't manage to sing to her. I sound flat...")
Eating: Salad with lots of olives <3
Drinking: I will be drinking a homemade frozen latte here in a bit when I get off my newcomputer. Lol!
Wearing: The Hello Kitty shirt, jean skirt, and loose socks (like I said I would) and I wore the cat ears for part of the day. d(o^-')

Happy first day of summer everyone!! For some reason, things seem to be busier now that I summer break has started and I only have one job. Not quite sure it's that way, but it is. I figured I would have more opportunities to blog at home instead of almost always from work. Maybe summer just has that affect on things. Today is going to be no exception. Today starts the huge car show at the strip mall where I work. It is a weekend long extravaganza or cars, food, music, new cars, old cars, fancy cars, unique cars, UBER expensive cars/trucks/you name it. Each year, the stores around the mall have sidewalk sales to take advantage of the increase in customers. We kinda spaced it, so I'm not entirely sure what we are going to do. Aaron mentioned handing out flyers. I think I might bring it up again, because this would be the perfect opportunity to get out my cat ears and tail that I bought at SakuraCon and hand out fliers. Our store has a TON of anime that isn't selling atm, so I could hand out fliers for the anime while dressed up as a cat-girl! I have the outfit all picked out. My white Hello Kitty shirt, one of my jean miniskirts, my loose socks, and my gray Vans. I think it would be awesome!

Two days ago, I got the last book in the Golden Compass series, "Lyra's Oxford". It was a short story, just like the prequel "Once Upon a Time in the North", maybe even a little shorter. But it was nice. It isn't 'more closure' or anything, but it's just a little misadventure with Lyra. You see how much she's grown in the two years since the trilogy. Again, I recommend the books by Philip Pullman to ANYONE who love fantasy adventure stories.

Mood: not excited about certain parts of my day (like going to the courthouse for my first ever ticket ; ; *sobs* It's not a speeding ticket, I got pulled over for tabs and in the stress/franticness of everything I couldn't find my insurance card *moresobs* so I got ticketed for that. BUT I DO HAVE INSURANCE!!! So I'm going to the courthouse today to prove that so they will hopefully drop my $600 ticket. *wails* Thankfully, my Dad is coming with me for support. And food. *mmm*
Watching: Finished up Gundam Seed last night. It was great!! Not as good as Gundam 08th MS Team, but almost as good.
Listening: Haven't decided if it's a Hitomi Shimatani or a Tamaki Nami day.
