Knitted Stuffs

It is hard to believe I have had time to knit lately. But if something is important to you you make time. So I did.

First off is this shawl:

Not sure how often I will wear it, but it is cute and was a fairly quick project. *thumbs up*

Second is this hat:

Suuuuper cute hat! My favorite yellow hat is taking a break right now so this pretty little thing is taking it's place for the time being.

More pictures of both these projects are on my Ravelry page.

Now I am going to grab a sweater and do some laundry. Once I'm done with that and Aaron is done with his stuffs were' going to play games together. Yay!

Busy busy!

Go figure I've been super busy lately, right?

Filling out applications, faxing forms, buying paints, wood, and various other things and errands I have to do since starting the store have been keeping me moving.

It's a good type of busy though. While it makes for a long week, I like it. All this work is going to pay off. This weekend especially. Thursday - Saturday is Cool Desert Nights weekend, a HUGE car show that sets up in the parking lot of this shopping mall.

It was rumored that Sir Mixalot showed up last year with his fleet of ferrari's. I was working so I can't confirm this. But since he lives in Seattle, from what I understand, it just might have happened.

Due to this nonstop-ness I have spent a lot of time in the car. No biggy though, I just picked up Girls Generation's new cd and LOVE it. LOVE it! They are wayyyy cooler than AKB48. I said it. Don't get me wrong, AKB48 is great and I love their new album, but GG is so much more mature sounding, easier to sing to (lol ) and there's not one song on the album I would skip. I'm sooo happy Aaron bought me this cd!

The not so fun part of being in the car a bunch is having too much time to think. What I mean by that is that I have been getting in to arguments in my head with people about silly things. Things that I should not even worry about.

But you know how it goes... something reminds you of something and before you know it you are reliving situations of the past. Then I'm all rabble-tastic and nothing seems to fix it short of rolling up the windows, turning up the music, and singing the broken Japanese, Korean and English lyrics to GG's new album. (Yeah they're that cool- three languages!)

So I'm going to leave you know with the ridiculous awesomeness that is Girls Generation.

Nitenite!

Midweek

Hello again! Midweek has been good to me. It has made me happy.

While I haven't been super productive at getting work done, I have had the opportunity to meet two of the most amazing children to have ever set foot inside a retail store.

The first child overheard my name being said by someone and then said: "Excuse me, I thought I heard your name was Sarah. Can I call you Sarah?"

No joke. That's what she said.

The second child, who was certainly too younge to read many, if all, of the words on the cards he wanted to purchase said "May I please buy these cards?" With the biggest, toothy, melt-your-heart grin I have ever seen.

Both children had big "thank you's" before they left. It just great.

Two Tuesday's ago we went to Spokane to see WWE Smackdown. That was two nights after we saw WWE Over The Limit in Seattle. We're busy bees!

Both wrestling evens were outstanding. I find it to be total cheese-tastic fun! Do you watch wrestling?

We love it!

So tonight for second dinner, I'm thinking about making rice with fried shrimp and avacado. Haven't tried it before but it looks delicious.

Oh! And kimchi on the side. I can't get enough of it.

And maybe some Spinach Dip Bites. Mmmm~

Sunken Treasures Games

Aren't blogs a funny thing? I say I'll be here and then I disappear, I come back and disappear. I blame Twitter. Updating it is much easier and faster than the blog.

Or maybe I blame all the awesome people who follow me on Twitter who respond on it as opposed to my chatbox. (What's wrong with a chatbox anyway?) Thanks fellow Twitter-ers for following me!

Anyway, let's forget about blogs and Twitter.

My main reason for posting is to show you my store! Aaron made an awesome video tour of the place and I wanted you to see it.

Sunken Treasures Games - A Video Tour

I love my store. I love that it is mine. I love that it is fun to be in. I love that I look forward to my time there. Even if it is for 50+ hours in one week. Especially if it is for 50+ hours. That just means more time to spend in and work on the store.

Even though it has only been open a few weeks, in my eyes, the store has grown. With each new customer that walks through the doors, that is one more person I can chat with, help, and turn into a returning customer. With each returning customer my smile gets bigger and bigger knowing that people want to come back and do business with us.

It is such an awesome feeling.

Big thank you's to my family and friends who helped up make Sunken Treasures what it is.
