First Aid Wristband
Note: I made mine to be snug around my wrist (the wristband measures 7 inches around on my wrist). If you don’t want it snug, make it a size or two bigger.
Materials:
White worsted weight yarn
Red worsted weight yarn
Size 5 needles
Pattern:
With size 5 needles and white acrylic yarn, cast on 24(28,32,36).
Work in K1,P1 rib for 2 rows.
Row 1: Knit 10(12,14,16) sts, change to red yarn and knit 3, change back to white and knit remaining 11(13,15,17,) sts.
Row 2: Purl 11(13,15,17,) sts, with red purl 3, with white purl across.
Row 3: Repeat row 1
Row 4: Purl 8(10,12,14), with red purl 9, with white purl across.
Row 5: Knit 7(9,11,13), with red knit 9, with white knit across.
Row 6: Repeat row 4.
Row 7: Repeat rows 1-3.
Work K1,P1 rib for 2 rows. Bind off.
