Today has been such a weird day- when the alarm went off this morning, Aaron asked me what I was doing up so early, and I told him going to work cuz the alarm went off. I took too long getting dressed so I raced out the door, got some gas and was on my way to David's house when the radio said it was 6:30am (a whole HOUR early!!). My mind was totally blown, because my alarm went off at 7am, I was SO confused. So I get to David's house and no one was awake... I must have changed the time on my alarm clock went I set it last night...

It was no big deal because I brought my book to read while I waited for everyone to get up and go to school. I am currently reading Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy, and it's so good! I finished "The Golden Compass" a couple months ago, and now I'm reading "The Subtle Knife". During the Christmas season I saw the trailer for "The Golden Compass" and I thought it looked so cool! The next day I saw the book at a store and I knew I had to have it. Now, I am so glad that I picked up the books- they are by far some of the best writing I have read in a very long time. It's up there with J.R.R. Tolken for me. I know a lot of people have problems with Pullman and his works because of his beliefs, but all that doesn't bother me because I think the stories are great. The worlds that Phillip Pullman created are so imaginative and detailed, the characters so real and fleshed out, you just can't help but be drawn into the stories.

Today is a big milestone in the house of Sarah and Aaron because today is the day we are getting cable television. I'm not sure if I ever stated this in my blog, but we don't have television (we obviously have tv's cuz we're gamers, but not channels that we can watch shows on it). We haven't had any sort of tv (be it cable, satellite, or bunny-ears), since we moved out of our parent's homes almost five years ago. Crazy huh? We just don't like what is on tv, so we never wanted to spend the money on it. The reason we are getting it NOW is because we would like to watch the Seattle Mariner's on our HD tv. Lol, we're such dorks. Thankfully, we can cancel our cable when the season is over with no canceling fees. *yay* I am actually waiting for the guy to show up now. Oops, he's here! BRB!

Edit: Here's a couple more papers. I was on a roll this morning!

Over the last couple of days, I have been working on some new PSP wallpapers. While searching for new website layouts, I have found some amazing textures to use with the wallpapers. Shizoo is a German graphic design site with some awesome graphics. The navigation is in English, so it's easy to look around. Check it out.

Without further adieu, here are the new PSP wallpapers.

It was nice to spend some time making these. I miss doing it (I was sick for three weeks so I spent most of my spare time in bed). Tomorrow is my day off and if my inspiration is still with me, I would like to make a couple more.

It is actually 12:21am right now... I'm getting sleepy so it's time for bed.

I. am. a. space. case. Maybe spring break is getting to me. My mind is somewhere else. I answered the phone at work with a simple "Hello?" instead of the "Hi, thanks for calling blah blah blah, this is Sarah how can I help you?" Lol. Then I'm switching numbers and letters around in my head and when I talk...

I'm working on a new psp wallpaper atm. That should be up somewhat soon. Hopefully I'll have more to post soon.

OH! Having a new layout is still a goal of mine, and last night I emailed Harper from Anxiety and asked if I could get a custom layout. She sounded like it would be doable so I look forward to that maybe soon. Check out Anxiety and all their AWESOME layouts!!! Do it!

Lol, in all my excitement about April Fool's Day and food, I totally forgot to talk about SakuraCon!! Oops.

So Thisbe and Ben (our friends from FFXI) came into town super later on Thursday (at like 1:30am!!!). They left Colorado early Thursday morning... such a long drive! 17 hours or something like that. Friday morning we all got up and left for Seattle. Our friend Adam came with us too.

The convention was amazing. There were so many people dressed up! I wish we took more pictures!! We got a really nice picture of Aaron with a couple cosplayers from FFXI. So cool! There were the expected 15 bazillion Naruto and Bleach cosplayers, but besides that there were plenty of really good costumes. There was a great Cloud and Tifa from FFVII. OH! OH! And there was an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Fran from FFXII. Like OMG! There was a line of people taking her picture. She even looked like her a bit in the face. I was very impressed. Lets see, there was also a great Zack from Dead or Alive in the silly silver alien outfit. There were too many to talk about!

By the end of Friday, half the girls walking around were wearing cat ears. This meant that one (or more) of the vendors was selling them- and I wanted a pair. On Saturday we spent quite a bit of time in the Exhibition Hall shopping. My plan was to not leave the Hall until I had a pair of cat ears. The pair I ended up buying was this pair of gray ears with various gray ribbons. Later on in the day I found a matching cat tail- lol! It's so dorky and silly, but when in Rome (or Sakuracon)...

Well I gtg for now- more on Sakuracon later!

Mood: Sick I've tried to not let it get to me, but I have had this horrid bug for 16 days now.

Listening: Utada Hikaru - Heart Station CD I love this cd so much!

No April Fool's jokes here. For some reason, I am just not into pranking people. I like hearing about other peoples pranks and I like seeing pranks, but just not doing them. So there have been a lot of good pranks today. Youtubes was great. They "Rick Rolled" everyone by linking every single link on the front page to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" song. Great stuff!

One of the Final Fantasy XI websites I go to said they got a press release from Square Enix saying they were going to be shutting down all the servers for FFXI so they could get ready for their new MMO. I didn't buy it for a second... >.> ... <.< ... nope... not a second. Lol.

Not much else going on. I'm thinking about maybe having gyoza in my bento today. *Yum* I <3 gyozas. Later!

We're going to SakuraCon this weekend. *So excited!* A couple of our friends from Colorado and staying the night Thursday, then we're all going to drive to Seattle on Friday. The cool thing is, is that they are friends we met on Final Fantasy XI, and have never met them irl; it will be so cool to finally meet them!

Food sounds good right about now. What should I have for lunch? A bagel from the Bagel Shop around the corner? Starbucks? Pancake? Seriously, nothing is better than my Mom's pancakes. She makes them for me almost every morning when I come visit her. *so. good.* Hmm... I'll have to think on this...

Mood: not exactly sure ...
Listening: Listening: Ai Ostuka Yeah, I'm still listening to it. I'm totally going to pick up the cd when we're in Seattle.
Watching: Erai Tokoro ni Totsuide Shimatta! aka "I've Been Married To Hell!" It's hilarious! We're getting hooked on JDoramas. Lol!

Still having problems with the webpage... I'm sure it doesn't help that I keep working on it from three different computers- the computer at work, my home computer, and them my laptop (which I do most of my site and graphic stuff on). Lol! Sorry so short- I'm at work. Hahaha!! Mood: Silly
Listening: Ai Ostuka It's JPOP, but it's totally worth checking out. Watching: Princess Tutu

So, somehow I managed to delete my 'index.html' which is why my page has been down the past few days. The past few days have been filled with going through hundreds of website layouts trying to find a good new one. Although I did find a few layouts I liked, I wasn't sure if anyone else would like them, or might find me 'poser'-ish. >.<""" Now I'm doing what I should have done in the first place- just update and upload the page. I think I'm going to take a nap. *wavies*
