Happy last week of school everyone! *cheers!* Today is great because I didn't have to babysit, so I got to sleep in! When I say 'sleep in' I mean that loosely because the cat has decided to take it upon herself to wake us up at ungawdly hours in the morning. This week her wake up time (which is now OUR wake up time) has been somewhere between 5:30am and 8:45am. Today, she woke us up at 8:17 (and I really can't complain too much because that's an hour and 15 mins later than I normally get up)... yesterday it was 5:43... Seriously! I love Rinoa to death but sometimes, just sometimes, I don't. Lol!

Despite my early morning wakeup call, today has been a good day. I get to spend the morning watching Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel HD and update my blog. DC is the coolest show evarrrr. I get so caught up in the action and drama! Hehe. It's great. I heart it. <3 <-- Like that.

On a different note, I made some really cool PSP wallpapers. These ones are very unique and I hope people like them:

See what I mean by unique? Back in I was in school, I used to doodle and raw on my papers a lot (it drove my teachers crazy) and that is what inspired these wallpapers. I like the way these turned out. They're different. But I like that.

Here are the other ones:

I also made some icons. Busy Sarah!

Sooooo.... it's now time to get some work done. Have a great rest of the day everyone!

Mood: Getting hungry. Tonight is family dinner night at my parents house, so I will be well fed tonight. *joy*
Watching: Deadliest Catch
Listening: Oliva Lufkin
Playing: My Tamagotchi <3<3<3

What do you think?! I did this layout myself. While searching for hours for a tutorial to help me figure out how to code a layout, I found a layout skeleton and just edited it! For a first attempt at creating a layout, I am so very very happy with this. *beams with excitment* If there are any problems with the layout, please let me know!!

School gets out this Friday, which means no more babysitting! I think I will end up miss David (and miss babysitting him), but I think it is time for me to move on. Here come days of sleeping in past 7:00am and staying up past 10:30! (I am such a baby sometimes- lol!)

Yesterday morning I finished Once Upoon A Time In the North by Philip Pullman. It is the prequel to The Golden Compass trilogy. SO GOOD! The story was surprisingly short. It felt like I was reading a 'short story' as opposed to a novel. Regardless, it was an excellent little read. It is basically a little side story of how two of the characters from The Golden Compass meet. This book was written AFTER the trilogy was finished, so I would read the trilogy first. You should go do that. Now... lol!

You know, now that I have this new layout, I am all inspired! I think I'm going to go make something! Later!

Mood: Just sneezed- that felt good!
Watching: Radiohead: In The Basement (yay for cable tv!)
Listening: Ne-Yo "Closer" (I don't like R&B- it all sounds the same and I don't like it's image or scene, but this song sounds more like electro-pop than R&b. I saw an Overstock.com commercial on tv and this video was on it. It's pretty good.)

After trying for the past week-ish to find a temp layout until I could get the one I special ordered, I decided to just keep this one. While searching, I found this killer Eternal Sunshin of the Spotless Mind layout, but after thinking of how much work it would take to move everything over to only have to do it again somewhat soon (I'm hoping!!!), I decided to bag it.

Not too much to talk about, except I do have a couple of icons to upload when I get home tonight. Other than that, I have been too busy (searching for a new layout ) to work on anything else. GTG, customers just walked it.

Mood: defeated (about a new layout) but really really good other than that.
Listening: nothing atm :(
Watching: The Cubs game.

Blarg! Am I the only one who didn't notice how messed up the navigation bar is? I'm not sure what happened. The code looked fine, and I copied code from one of the other pages to this one, and it is still messed up. Grr!

Aaron is off to Best Buy right now picking us up the new Lucky Star deluxe DVD box set. *so excited* It comes with a tshirt (it's a men's XL) that I'm going to cut up and size down for me.

Last night I attempted to make a layout/design for this site. This is a big deal because I have never made a layout before. I have a pretty good understanding of html, and I can make graphics just fine, but it's when you bring the two together that I run into problems. I have read Liss Explains over and over, and there's a good tutorial on Celestial Star that I have tried (a couple of times) but when it comes to slicing the images and coding it, I do something wrong. I must be really thick... Anyone have any tips or advice? I would really appreciate it.

Suddenly I am feeling very inspired- so off I go to make a few PSP wallpapers! It has been so slow at work today, so this is how I'm going to pass the time. LOL! Have a great weekend!!! Laterz!

Mood: Good, yes yes!
Listening: Utada Hikaru
Watched: The Mariners lose... again!!!

Two weeks almost. Sorry about that. But I have lots and lots to show and tell you! First off, my must pimp Aaron's new song, At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance
At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance
At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance At A Glance
Check it out!

Next off, if you check out the navigation... you will notice that I changed it a bit. I took out the "graphics" link and added new links: PSP Wallpapers, Icons/Avatars, and Desktop Wallpapers. I added a whole bunch of new PSP wallpapers (thirteen actually!!), and about 20 icons. I hope everyone likes them.

OH!! I finished the "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Philip Pullman, (aka "The Golden Compass" trilogy). OMG, so amazing good. A friend of mine told me that it had an 'alright' ending, so I was skeptical about finishing the series, but I so glad I did. It's probably the best series of books I have ever read. Hands down.

Hmm, that's about all that I can think of. Have a great Friday!!

Mood: So very glad it's Friday.
Listening: Nine Inch Nails - The Slip
Watching: Final Fantasy: Spirits Within

Ok, I'm feeling a bit better now. After reading some new tutorials and listening to the new cd by Zooey Deschanel's band She & Him, my mood has lightened up a bit. Here are a few avatars I made while listening to the cd.

These are from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, which I totally recommend watching. *sigh* It's really good.

Mood: Blah, maybe? I'm not sure.
Listening: She & Him - Volume One
Watching: The Mariners lose... again.
Thinking: I hope I don't screw up tonight... I'm helping my sister's photography company out with the EIGHT proms they're doing tonight. WTF... eight! Who's idea was that?!! <.< >.> Seriously.

Grumptastic day. No real reason though. Which makes it worse.

Guess what?! Last month I entered a competition on one of the groups I belong to in Crunchy Roll and I WON!! The competition was for the groups avatar for this month. Check it out:

I honestly didn't think I was going to win. Lol, I almost started crying when I saw that I won. It is actually the third competition I have participated in there and the first one I have won.

That's all for now! Laters!

Mood: still ecstatic!!
Listening: new Wolf Parade
Second Mood: too full from pizza

At this very second, I am eating the best piece of food I've ever had in my life. While surfing Food Network to find something to make for dinner, I found a recipe for a Fried PD & Banana sandwich (which, btw, I don't even like banana's) and for some reason it sounded good. It was really easy to make. AND IT'S SO GOOD!

Go try it!

This whole having tv thing is weird. After five years, it's so weird to turn the tv on and have the option of watching so many different things. Granted, the only channels with any air time have been Fox Sports Northwest, Discovery Channel, and ESPN. Still. It's weird. Not a bad weird... just different. Weird.

The past two days have been so productive for me! Yesterday, I bought some fake flowers and hot glued them to bobby pins. AND THEY ARE SO CUTE! I made a couple dozen or so. Big ones and small ones. In one of the Japanese fashion magazines I picked up in Seattle last month, they have some adorable hair styles that feature these little flowers. I'm a sucker when it comes to cute things like this so I just HAD to make them. LOL!

And today, I took this Cowboy Bebop shirt I had that was too big for me (actually, it was a guys shirt in size small...), and I cut the sides of the shirt so it would be more form fitting. Then I took this really thin texture fabric, scrunched it, and then sewed it inside the sleeves so it would stick out about an inch. It turned out AMAZING! I'm going to wear it tomorrow to family dinner at Aaron's parents house.

Two new psp wallpapers. I. can't. stop. making. them. *yay!*

That's all for now. I'm off to make more! Hehe!
Edit: I found one more psp wallpaper. I forgot I made this one. Reallyreallyreally simple:

Mood: hungry... no surprise right? Lol!
